• Since 1958 the Rocky River Chamber Music Society has been presenting high-quality, professional chamber music concerts to the northeast Ohio community. We are firmly committed to the principle of “No Admission Charge,” since this allows as many people as possible to attend our concerts. Our highly regarded concerts, however, are not “free.” Artist fees, travel expenses, maintenance of the fine Steinway piano, and publicity costs are but a few of the many expenses that go into presenting top-notch concerts. This is where YOU come in. We exist solely thanks to your donations, both at the concerts or by mail. Now you can also donate online. Several extra generous donors over the years have even included RRCMS in their estate plans. Please consider giving. If you have any questions, please send us a message via info@rrcms.org.

Rocky River Chamber Music Society has depended on its generous donors ever since its founding in 1958. During 2015 we had 130 donors who gave all sizes of donations in addition to cash dropped in the jar on concert nights. In early 2016, the Society received notification that it would be named the beneficiary of a very special gift—a charitable gift annuity created by Mr. Milan G. Busta. A longtime Rocky River resident and businessman, Mr. Busta has attended RRCMS concerts for years and has admired the fact that these concerts have never charged admission.

Since most modest-size non-profit organizations do not have planned giving officers on their staffs, Mr. Busta has turned to Community West Foundation for assistance on his most recent gift annuities. This makes it easy for both the donor and the beneficiary and is truly a win-win situation for both. This gift benefits Mr. Busta during his lifetime, and benefits the Rocky River Chamber Music Society after his lifetime. Over the years Mr. Busta has made a habit of creating charitable gift annuities for non-profit organizations that have a significant volunteer base and are engaged in betterment of the community. In fact, his establishment of the RRCMS annuity is his twenty-first annuity! We are so honored to be associated with such a civic-minded, philanthropic gentleman and hope that more will follow in his footsteps.
